Seed Saving
Team of Creators
The educational materials "A Brief Overview of Seed Saving" and "Introduction to Seed Saving" were created as part of the project "Building Digital Education of Indigenous/Heritage Crops for the Resilience of African Food Systems in the Climate Crisis". The project was funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2024 from the development cooperation budget.
In this project, the Latvian Permaculture Association partnered with the Baltic International Centre for Economic Policy Studies (BICEPS), an independent research center in Riga, Latvia, as well as with the African social enterprise and AgTech company Farmerline in Accra, Ghana, and the CSIR-Savanna Agricultural Research Institute (SARI), one of the 13 institutes of the CSIR, based in Tamale, Ghana.
